Day 1 LA

Arrived safely after a very long flight. 5 guys have dipped out at the last minute so there are only 4 of us now - not going to stop my enjoyment.  Will pick up my Harley tomorrow morning.  The others picked up the keys to their Goldwings today.

This is the view from the hotel overlooking the Marina.


Out to a local curry house for a bite to eat.


 Please note the Atkins pin. Don't I look happy and this is at 5am UK time.


This is the view on the way back to the hotel about 9pm - getting a bit chilly.


Tomorrow we are going to Palm Beach to see the Queen Mary then inland to Palm Springs.

Phone is not working - so no calls from work or home.

    Looking good, perfect riding weather. Can't believe they've pulled out at such a late stage but I know your room mate was going to be on a Goldwing so take it you still with the bloke you met previously. Enjoy your first days ride.
