Today started at about 8am with a ride past Bryce and on to Zion National Park.
A few tips on the USA:
Firstly, most hotels and motels have free wifi - just remember to ask for the username and password at reception.
Secondly, other than in big towns, mobile phone networks are patchy and if you do get a connection they are not always compatible with your host network. Staying in touch is not easy.
Finally, some things don't open on Sunday. We went to a gas station today and you could only pay at the pump with a card, no cash.
This is the motel in Escalante, Utah.
We stopped to view a native cave and Steve tried out a real bike. He didn't quite have the knack of how to get on it.
For some unknown reason he prefers the Goldwing. Oh well, it takes all sorts.
This is the entrance to the park. I videoed the ride through the park.
It's almost as good as the real ride, but not quite.
The colours are amazing and the road is as smooth as it can be.
Hope this video works.
Only about 160 miles today, but boy what miles!
Just to let you know, managed to watch the video. Have you edited it with the sound or do you have radio on your bike? Looks like you're having a great time. Glad to see the snow has gone
