Today started late due to the weather and not knowing if it was going to snow or rain again.
But by 10am we were off to see the Grand Canyon.
The first glimpse of which is below.

It is quite awe inspiring. You move just a couple of feet and the view changes.
I spent a lot of time just sitting looking out at one of nature's great wonders.
This is on the way to Monument Valley.
The rock on the left looks like an owl (supposedly).
This is the core of a volcano. All the rock has been eroded away leaving only the lava core.
Helps that John is a geologist.

The fork seals on Gary's bike have gone, so he needs to sort out an alternative bike a.s.a.p.
We are in Utah at present. A relatively dry state. You can only buy wine or beer here and only one at a time.
The bike is running well and the noise is magic.
John washed the Harleys this morning so they are all shiny again.
It's been a bit chilly all day but at least the Sun was shining.
